Even Faster Web Sites

Even Faster Websites, Steve Souders

I finished reading this book a week ago, and it surprised me, but I have to say that I’m more a web designer than a web developer, and parts of the book seemed too technical for my knowledge, however it surprised me that this wasn’t a recipe book about speeding up the load time of a website with tricks, but a more elaborated description about how scripts works against download times, and how to get more speed by applying parallel processing techniques for scripts and other complex optimizations.

So this book is perfect for web developers who wants to understand what is happening with the behaviour of their website  in terms of loading times.

Perharps the downside of this book, is that is too focused on the scripting part and not so much in the overall coding. (but there are tons of other books about that subject). But I recommend it to those developers who are experienced and  wants to deepen their knowledge about how to speed up their website.

I just have to say this was probably one of the best posts I have read on the topic so far. I do not have any idea where you get all of your information but up! I’m going to send a few individuals your way to take a look at this post. Fantastic, simply amazing. I am just getting into spitting out articles myself, nothing close to your writing skills (doh) but I’d love for you to have a look at my articles sometime! bowfelx series 7 treadmill
